88M Motor Transport Operator
The Army Motor Transport Operator (MOS 88M) is responsible for safely transporting people and cargo. They drive heavy trucks through all terrains and any kind of weather. They also maintain vehicle maintenance logs, perform routine checks of military vehicles, and operate vehicle mounted, automated information, communication, and navigation systems.
MOS 88Ms serve in almost every unit in the Army. They are in artillery units driving ammo and transportation units driving everything. Males are usually assigned to the P1 (Infantry) support platoons.
The position requires ASVAB testing and Basic Training.
