Maintainers are the mechanics of the U.S. Air Force. They “maintain” and repair everything from aircraft and buildings to electricity and fuels systems. The tasks these Airmen complete all over the world keep us mission ready at all times.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair specialized equipment and systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify technical issues and malfunctions.
• Replace worn or damaged components according to technical specifications.
• Document all maintenance actions and maintain detailed service records.

Duties

• Perform duties related to specialized field requirements.
• Support Air Force mission objectives through technical expertise.
• Develop, maintain, and implement standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with other units to accomplish mission requirements.
• Supervise and train personnel as required.
