1D7X2F Spectrum Operations, Cyber Spectrum Defense Operations

1D7X2F is an Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) for Spectrum Operations. The 1D7 AFSC combines 11 different AFSCs into one AFSC with nine shreds. The 1D7X2F shred is for Spectrum Operations. The 1D7 AFSC provides the Air Force with flexibility and agility to look at missions and capabilities and adjust manpower as necessary. The 1D7X2F shred is for Spectrum Operations. A Spectrum Operations technician: Analyzes requirements and requests frequencies to support terrestrial, aircraft, and space systems Coordinates radio, radar, land, and other electromagnetic radiating or receiving requirements To become a cyber officer in the Air Force, you need: Knowledge of electronics theory, information technology, telecommunications, and supervisory and control systems Completion of Undergraduate Cyberspace training and mission qualification training in specialty area
