1N4X2 is an Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) for a Cryptologic Analyst and Reporter. Cryptologic Analysts and Reporters analyze complex intelligence information, develop targets, and provide situational awareness. They also: Analyze, assess, and prioritize information obtained from intelligence collection efforts Synthesize information to provide serialized intelligence reports to authorized recipients Draft intelligence reports and distribute them quickly and efficiently To enlist in the Air Force, you must earn at least a 31 overall on the ASVAB test. To become a cryptological language analyst, you must earn at least a 72 general score based on your combined scores on the arithmetic reasoning, word knowledge, and paragraph comprehension tests.
