3N0X2 is the Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) for Broadcast Journalist. Broadcast Journalists develop scripts and graphics, serve as on-camera announcers, and document ground and aerial missions. To become a Broadcast Journalist, you must meet the following requirements: Have a favorable evaluation of a voice audition Have no speech impediments and be able to read aloud and speak distinctly Have normal color vision Have knowledge of Basic Communication Theory Have experience in broadcast writing, basic announcing skills, and editing audio and video Have a valid driver’s license Broadcast Journalists also require routine access to Secret material or similar environments.
