Mental Health Service Specialists provide support in areas such as: Psychiatry Psychology Social work Family advocacy Substance abuse prevention and rehabilitation Counseling Client education and prevention Coordinating specialized treatment and hospitalization Mental Health Service Specialists are responsible for ensuring that every Airman is mentally fit. They perform tasks such as: CM evaluations Counseling Client education and prevention Coordinating specialized treatment and hospitalization Mental Health Service Specialists support mental health services in areas such as: Psychiatry, Psychology, Social work, Family advocacy, Substance abuse prevention and treatment, Aftercare.
