Cyber intelligence analysts in the Air Force perform and manage intelligence analysis activities in all domains. They analyze and exploit intelligence information, develop targets, and provide situational awareness for operations personnel and key leadership. To become a cyber intelligence analyst, you need: A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field Experience working in the computer science industry, especially with network security systems Cyber intelligence analysts: Analyze and detect cyber threats and malware impacting an enterprise Investigate the level of threat posed by an attack Enable organizations to take informed cybersecurity-based business decisions To obtain a cybersecurity job in the Air Force, you must first establish yourself as an Airman.
