5R0X1 is the Air Force specialty code for Religious Affairs Airmen. They are also known as Chaplain Assistants. Religious Affairs Airmen are experts in: Religious accommodation Religious diversity Major faith group requirements Privileged communication Religious program management Providing religious observances, pastoral care, and spiritual and moral guidance to Air Force personnel Advising leaders on religious accommodation, ethical, moral, and morale issues Religious Affairs Airmen work with chaplains to: Develop, manage, control, and evaluate religious programs Provide religious observances, pastoral care, and spiritual and moral guidance to Air Force personnel Counsel Air Force personnel of any faith Religious Affairs Airmen also deal with: Finance management, Facility management, Scheduling, Customer service, Unit engagement, Counseling/interventions.
