8A100 is a military occupation code for a Career Assistance Advisor (CAA) in the Air Force. CAAs develop, supervise, and manage Air Force retention programs. They also:
Advise Airmen on career progression and planning
Monitor mandatory pay and benefits briefing programs
Conduct advertising and publicity programs
Provide courses that assist Airmen with benefits/entitlements, career opportunities, and advanced leadership tools
CAAs are grade E7/E8 and require SNCOA.
