8D100 Language & Culture Advisor

8D100 is the Air Force Specialty Code for Language & Culture Advisor. The Air Force Culture and Language Center (AFCLC) creates and executes language, region, and cultural learning programs for Total Force Airmen. To become a linguist in the Air Force, you must: Become proficient in your chosen language. Pass an aptitude exam that shows your knowledge of the language. Enlist in basic training. The Air Force is looking for linguists who are proficient in languages such as: Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Persian Farsi, Hebrew, Pashto, Urdu.
