8M000 is an Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) for postal service. It’s a special duty identifier (SDI). 8M000 performs the following functions: Postal finance, Mail handling, Locator service, Mail distribution, Selling postage stock. 8M000 will merge with AFSC 3A1X1, Administration.
