12G Quarrying Specialist (RC)

The Army MOS 12G is a quarrying specialist. They operate heavy machinery to move earth, rock, and other materials to build airfields, roads, dams, and buildings.

They also operate powered machines to: Excavate, Clean, Crush, Drill, Grade, Detonate explosives to clear rock. Quarrying specialists also maintain air compressors, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic-powered rock.

To qualify for this MOS, you need a minimum General Maintenance score of 95 on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
