12V Concrete and Asphalt Equipment Operator

The Army’s MOS 12V is a military occupational specialty for Concrete and Asphalt Equipment Operators. These operators supervise or operate all equipment used in concrete and asphalt production and paving. They may also assist in combat engineer missions. MOS 12V operators are trained to operate a mobile concrete mixer and load its compartments with sand. They may also assist in the erection and operation of asphalt producing plants.

The Army needs asphalt and concrete production to support airfields, buildings, dams, and roads.
