12H Construction Engineering Supervisor
The Army MOS 12H is a Construction Engineering Supervisor. They are responsible for overseeing the construction, repair, and utility services of buildings, warehouses, bridges, port facilities, and petroleum pipelines. They may also supervise construction projects on pipelines or tankers.
The duties of a Construction Engineering Supervisor include: Reading and interpreting construction blueprints and drawings Supervising combat engineering missions Estimating material, labor, time, and equipment needs Supervising maintenance on equipment and vehicles Devising network flow diagrams Coordinating work activities of supporting units Inspecting subordinate elements to ensure compliance with directives, construction drawings, and specifications
The Construction Engineering Supervisor also serves as a senior planner for the U.S. Army South’s Engineer Directorate. They are responsible for planning and synchronizing engineer support and operations.
