12X General Engineering Supervisor
The Army MOS 12X is a General Engineering Supervisor. They supervise construction and utility operations, including: Planning, scheduling, and estimating materials Clearing debris Repairing or resurfacing roads Building roads, bridges, and railroad cuts
They also oversee construction site development, which includes surveying, drafting, and creating construction plans and specifications.
The 12X is similar to a construction site foreman. They are responsible for planning, developing, executing, and supervising construction projects.
The 12X also assists in the preparation of operation orders, standing operating procedures, and contingency plans. They provide staff supervision and direction to units performing general engineering missions. They also inspect construction and training activities. The 12X is part of the Army Corps of Engineers, who are trained to fight, defend, and build Army facilities.
