131A Field Artillery Technician
The Army MOS 131A is a Field Artillery Targeting Technician. The Field Artillery Warrant Officer (MOS 131A) advises the commander and staff on the Army’s targeting methodology and the employment of target acquisition assets. They also synchronize and coordinate the Army’s targeting process and Joint Fires at all echelons.
The requirements for a 131A include: Bachelor’s degree Four years of experience Prerequisites such as ASP, GSP, TSP, or CIH
All selectees attend a 30-week WOBC at Fort Sill, OK. The Field Artillery Warrant Officer Advance Course prepares mid-grade 131As to operate at the Division and Corps level.
