13M Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS)/High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HiMARS) Crewmember

Army MOS 13M is the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Crewmember. The 13M is responsible for operating and maintaining the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMAR). The HIMAR is a multiple launch rocket system that supports infantry and tank units during combat. The 13M also launches long-range munitions across a variety of missions.

The 13M may also: Supervise or serve as a member of a launcher crew or section Drive the M270, M270A1, or HIMARS Self Propelled Loader Launcher (SPLL) Perform operator/crew maintenance on the SPLL and ammunition Conduct reconnaissance to determine routes and precise firing location sites

The 13M is an essential member of the field artillery team. They have responsibilities during peacetime as well as combat.
