14G Air Defense (AD) Battle Management System Operator
The Army MOS 14G, or Air Defense Battle Management System Operator, is responsible for maintaining, managing, and operating military computers. These computers are used on networks, communication equipment systems, and Sentinel Radar. The 14G also plans and executes airspace management for a supported echelon.
The 14G’s duties include: Overseeing cell equipment and march orders Providing warning, detection, and protection for armed forces from aerial attack Serving as a team leader for a Sentinel Radar Platoon Providing technical guidance to subordinate soldiers Performing operations and intelligence duties at brigade and higher levels Directing, instructing, and evaluating tactical operating procedures Monitoring unit equipment
The 14G may also serve as an operations NCO, systems evaluator, or battle manager in brigade level and above staff sections.
