To become a 152D pilot, you need to complete: Required training and logbook endorsement from an authorized instructor Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate Current Medical Certificate Warrant Officer Candidate School for six weeks Warrant Officer Pilot School and flight training, which lasts anywhere from 12 to 18 months
The Army also screens applicants for their ability to succeed with the occupational physical assessment test (OPAT).
