153D UH-60 Pilot

Army MOS 153D is the military occupational specialty for a UH-60 pilot. The 153D pilot pilots and commands multiengine utility helicopters under tactical and non-tactical conditions. They transport passengers, mail, or cargo for military purposes. They also supervise aircraft maintenance and loading and unloading to ensure load stability and adherence to aircraft load limitations.

The 153D pilot may also perform duties as a: SIP Aviation Safety Officer (ASO) Maintenance Test Flight Evaluator (MTFE) Tactical operations officer in special operations aviation

The 153D pilot may also perform aerial route, zone, and/or area reconnaissance in support of combat operations. They routinely participate in real-time and training operations.

To become a warrant officer aviator, you must meet the following requirements: Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident Be 18 to 34 years old Be accepted to college, in college, or graduate of a four-year degree program Be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance Be medically and physically fit Be in good moral standing
