154E MH-47 Pilot

Army MOS 154E is a Warrant Officer Military Occupational Specialty (WOMOS) that involves piloting and commanding cargo helicopters. MOS 154E also includes duties as an aircraft armament maintenance officer, instructor pilot, aviation safety officer, and tactical operations officer.

To qualify for MOS 154E, applicants must: Complete required training and logbook endorsement from an authorized instructor Have a Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate Have a current medical certificate Pay a fee

The Army uses the occupational physical assessment test (OPAT) to screen applicants.

MOS 154E may be substituted for MOS 153A CW5.
