15H Aircraft Maintenance Senior Sergeant
The Army MOS 15H is an Aircraft Pneudraulics Repairer. They supervise and perform maintenance on aircraft pneudraulics systems. Their duties include: Supervising, inspecting, and performing aviation unit (AVUM), intermediate (AVIM), and depot maintenance Using and performing operator maintenance on common and special tools Preparing forms and records related to aircraft maintenance
The MOS 15H also serves as a supervisor in a General Aviation Battalion. They are responsible for the health, welfare, and training of soldiers. They also coordinate the completion of all unscheduled and scheduled pneudraulics and powertrain.
To become an Aircraft Pneudraulics Repairer, you must: Complete 10 weeks of Basic Training Complete 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training Score 104 on the ASVAB: Mechanical Maintenance (MM)
Helpful skills for this role include: Preference for mathematics and shop mechanics Interest in working with aircraft and engine mechanics Ability to use hand and power tools
