15M Utility Helicopter Repairer

The MOS 15M MQ-1 Repairer is a Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Repairer. They supervise, inspect, and perform field and sustainment maintenance on UAS. They repair the aircraft’s electrical, avionics, radio frequency, propulsion, and fuel systems. They also remove and replace optical payload and weapons systems.

The MOS 15M changed from UH-1 Helicopter Repairer to MQ-1 UAS Repairer in 2020. Soldiers in this career field should have an interest in working with aircraft shop mechanics, electronic equipment, and mathematics. They should also be able to work as a member of a team.

The MQ-1 Grey Eagle UAS plays an important role in intelligence gathering for the Army. The system consists of the aircraft, a ground control station, and a ground terminal data.
