15C MQ-1 Operator

The Army MOS 15C MQ-1 Operator is a soldier who operates and remotely pilots the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS). They perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks and procedures. They also conduct site selection, emplacement, and deployment of the air vehicles and ground equipment of the UAS.

The 15 Series MOS relates to aviation and transportation military specialties. Army personnel in the 15 Series MOS provide repairs, maintenance, and operation of manned and unmanned aircraft. The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment of the US Army fields a complement of MQ-1 Unmanned Aerial Systems.
