17D Cyber Capabilities Development Officer
The Army MOS 17D is a Cyber Capabilities Development Officer (CCDO). They evaluate, manage, plan, and integrate cyber capabilities development at the brigade level. They also supervise developers and developer teams.
The 17D develops software and hardware solutions that enable cyberspace capabilities and electromagnetic warfare operations. They use personnel, resources, and methods to enable and enhance cyberspace operations and electronic warfare missions.
The 17D is responsible for: Army and Joint Doctrine, Policy, and Authorities Cyber and EW Threats Cyberspace and Electromagnetic Warfare Operations, Planning, Synchronization, and Integration Fundamentals of the Electromagnetic Spectrum Electrical, EW, and EMS Principles and Theories
The 17D works for the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade.
