255S Information Protection Technician

The Army MOS 255S is an Information Protection Technician. Their duties include responding to threats to Army operations and mission command, such as: Unauthorized activity, Security alerts, Attempted exploitation, Data exfiltration, Escalation.

MOS 255S technicians are required to know how to identify and defeat adversarial activity in cyberspace. They provide the Signal Regiment with a foundation to engage in full-spectrum cyberspace operations.
