31B Military Police
The Army’s military occupational specialty (MOS) 31B is for Military Police. Military Police protect people and property on Army installations by enforcing military laws and regulations.
They also perform basic police functions, such as: Controlling traffic Preventing crime Responding to emergencies Military Police are also trained in: Corrections Confining inmates and prisoners of war Investigations Mobility security support
Military Police are responsible for supervising or providing support to the battlefield. They lead and supervise Military Police teams and sections in support of battlefield operations. They also perform duties as Military Police Patrolman.
