350G Geospatial-Intelligence Imagery Technician
The Army MOS 350G is an Imagery Intelligence Technician. They provide technical expertise and manage activities related to GEOINT analysis. They are in charge of a section, detachment, or team that performs tactical to strategic imagery analysis.
The MOS 350G’s duties include: Identifying changes in terrain, equipment locations, troop movements, and other information that contributes to intelligence Identifying equipment by nomenclature and location to develop assessments of possible threats Directing GEOINT operations Projecting GEOINT requirements in support of unified land operations Directing GEOINT in support of joint targeting Coordinating GEOINT tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination Managing GEOINT architecture
The MOS 350G needs to receive Top Secret security clearance from the Department of Defense. The background check for a Top Secret security clearance is very thorough and includes a review of personal finances, criminal records, and drug/alcohol activity.
The MOS 350G’s training includes: Basic Combat Training, which is 10 weeks long Advanced Individual Training, which is 23 weeks and 5 days long and takes place at Fort Huachuca, AZ Planning overhead and aerial imagery collection
