351L Counter-Intelligence Technician
The United States Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 351L is a Counterintelligence Technician. The 351L MOS involves conducting investigations and operations to detect and prevent espionage, sabotage, and terrorism against Army activities.
The 351L MOS also includes: Managing activities that provide intelligence information Investigating personnel to determine their suitability for sensitive duties Conducting interrogations, briefings, and debriefings Preparing intelligence and investigative reports Directing CI operations and investigations Advising the command and staff on CI and other intelligence operations Managing CI support to the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)
The 351L MOS is not an entry-level position. To become a 351L, you must be at least 21 years old and score at least 102 on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). You must also complete 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 19 weeks and 3 days of Advanced Individual Training at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
