35A Intelligence Officer
The Army MOS 35A is a Military Intelligence Officer. They are responsible for planning, collecting, processing, producing, and disseminating all-source intelligence. They also supervise and coordinate support maintenance on missile systems.
Military Intelligence Officers provide Army personnel with information about the enemy force’s strengths, weaknesses, and potential battle areas. They also advise the commander and subordinate units on enemy situations, capabilities, vulnerabilities, weather, and terrain.
To become a Military Intelligence Officer, you need to be enlisted and have completed military training and testing, including officer training. You also need to have at least a bachelor’s degree, ideally with a background in intelligence analysis and risk assessment.
The Basic Officer Leadership Course is 16 weeks and 4 days of training at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. This course is designed to train new officers in the skills of Military Intelligence.
