35G Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst
The Army MOS 35G is a Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst. These analysts use overhead and aerial imagery to provide critical information to commanders and supported forces.
They analyze images from photographic and electronic sources to: Determine target coordinates Identify enemy weapons and positions Conduct battle damage assessments Prepare reports based on their findings
The analysts use this information to design plans for combat operations and disaster relief. They do not typically see combat.
The skills learned as a 35G can prepare you for a career in remote sensing or photogrammetry with government agencies such as the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
