35P Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Voice Interceptor
The Army MOS 35P is a Signals Intelligence Voice Interceptor. They use signals equipment to identify foreign communications. This role is important for national security, especially in combat situations.
The 35P MOS performs and supervises the following tasks: Detection, Acquisition, Geolocation, Identification, Exploitation, Analysis.
The 35P MOS is trained to understand the languages, customs, and cultures of adversaries. They can use their language skills to learn a new language or report on the enemy using advanced signals technology.
Requirements for the 35P MOS include: 91 ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (ST) 16 to 25 months of training at the Defense Language Institute 52 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
Applicants who are not native-born citizens or who have not attended U.S. schools since the age of 6 must score at least 80 on the English Comprehension Level Test (ECLT) or American Course Language Placement Test (ACLPT).
