36A Financial Manager
The Army’s MOS 36A is a Financial Manager Officer. The Financial Manager is in charge of the Army’s Finance Corps, which is responsible for sustaining missions through purchases of services and supplies.
The Financial Manager’s duties include: Serving as Chief of Military Pay Supervising the care, professional development, and technical and tactical training of four NCOs and nine Soldiers Ensuring accurate and timely pay entitlements Ensuring substantiating pay documents are processed and maintained in accordance with regulations Managing financial areas such as Army pay, commercial vendor support, disbursement of public funds, auditing, travel and transportation allowances, accounting, financial management information systems, and banking
