42B Human Resources Officer
The Army MOS 42B is a Human Resources Officer, also known as an Adjutant General Officer. They are responsible for providing personnel support that affects soldiers’ welfare and well-being. They also assist commanders by accounting for and keeping soldiers combat-ready.
The 42B Human Resources Officer is responsible for: Executing overall HR services and administrative support functions for an Airborne Infantry Brigade Combat Team (BCT) Being the primary advisor to the Brigade S-1 on all HR matters Managing the Brigade S-1 Human Resources Services & Support
To become a 42B Human Resources Officer, you must meet the following requirements: Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident Be 18 to 34 years old Be accepted to college, in college, or a graduate of a four-year degree program Have completed the Basic Officer Leadership Course Be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance Be medically and physically fit Be in good moral standing
