46Z Chief Public Affairs NCO

The Army MOS 46Z is a Chief Public Affairs NCO. The MOS 46Z is responsible for supervising Army public affairs programs, radio and television broadcasting, and Army command information. They also advise senior officers on command information, public information, and community relations.

The MOS 46Z also: Conducts public affairs and broadcast operations in support of Army Reserve Medical Command Assists with the supervision and administration of Army public affairs programs Advises on the accuracy, propriety, timing, and relative importance of information for release to the public Recommends methods of communicating information

The MOS 46Z must be able to supervise personnel performing the duties of MOS 46Q and 46R at skill “4” and below.
