51R Systems Automation Acquisition and Engineering

The Army MOS 51R is for interior electricians. They install, maintain, and safely distribute electricity. They work on interior electrical systems, including transformers, circuit breakers, electrical boxes, and lightning rods.

MOS 51Rs also: Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications Install service panels, switches, and electrical boxes Install metallic and nonmetallic sheathed cable, conduit, and special electrical equipment Install interior and exterior wiring to generators or low (600 volts or less) or high (more than 600 volts) voltage power sources
