60 Medical Corps
The Medical Corps is a branch of the Army that includes officers who are responsible for the professional care of the sick and injured.
The Medical Corps includes the following MOSs: 60A - Operational Medicine 60B - Nuclear Medicine Officer 60C - Preventive Medicine Officer 60D - Occupational Medicine Officer 60F - Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Officer 60G - Gastroenterologist 60H - Cardiologist 60J - Obstetrician and Gynecologist
The Medical Corps officers maintain the health of the Army and conserve its fighting strength. For example, the 60C - Preventive Medicine Officer oversees, directs, and executes the medical aspects of the Army’s Public Health.
