60A Operational Medicine

The Army MOS 60A is an Operational Medicine Officer. These specialists practice medicine in unconventional areas, and may be needed on the battlefield. They plan, establish, direct, and supervise health delivery activities within military units that include a surgeon, or are within research and development. They may also command medical units or installations that provide medical care.
