65B Physical Therapy

Army MOS 65B is the Military Occupational Specialty Code (MOS) for a physical therapist. Physical therapists in the Army Medical Specialist Corps plan and supervise physical therapy programs. They work in a variety of settings, including medical centers, hospitals, clinics, and field medical units. They also teach, research, and learn at health education programs.

Physical therapists evaluate, manage, and treat patients with neuromusculoskeletal disorders. They learn skills such as anatomy, physiology, therapeutic exercises, and injury prevention.

The Occupational Physical Assessment Test (OPAT) predicts a person’s aptitude for the physical tasks required for the 65B occupation. The 65B MOS is in the “Gold/Moderate" Physical Demands Category.
