65C Dietitian

The Army MOS 65C is a dietitian. Dietitians are officers in the Army Medical Specialist Corps. They improve the readiness of soldiers by assessing their diets and providing education. They also work with the Army on meal plans and dining options.

Dietitians are responsible for: Meeting with soldiers to work on their food fitness goals Developing policies and procedures for nutrition care services Supervising the operation of nutrition care services in medical treatment facilities and field medical units Managing medical food preparation Providing mandatory nutritional counseling to soldiers who fail to meet height and weight requirements

Dietitians play an important role in improving the quality of life for soldiers and their families.
