65D Physician Assistant

Army MOS 65D is a Physician Assistant Officer who plans, organizes, performs, and supervises troop medical care. They also direct services, teach and train enlisted medics, and act as medical platoon leader or officer in charge in designated units.

Physician Assistant Officers can be: Enlisted Officers Active Duty Army National Guard

Physician Assistant Officers work in a variety of practice environments, including: U.S. Army medical centers Hospitals Clinics Field medical units

Physician Assistant Officers receive training in the Army Medical Specialist Corps. They can teach, research, and learn at various health education programs. After completing their training, they become a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army.
