68A Biomedical Equipment Specialist
The Army MOS 68A is a Biomedical Equipment Specialist. This entry-level position is responsible for repairing medical equipment. Soldiers in this role perform maintenance checks, including lubricating, adjusting, and cleaning equipment. They also troubleshoot and check equipment for defects or malfunctions.
The equipment they work with may include mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, digital, optical, and radiological equipment.
The training for this role includes: Completing virtual classroom material A 10-day didactic and practical exercise course A pass/fail final exam
The total course length is two weeks.
