68X Combat Medic Specialist
The Army MOS 68X is a Behavioral Health Specialist. They work under the direction of a social worker, psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse, or psychologist. Their job is to help manage and treat mental health activities for inpatients and outpatients. They also record psychosocial and physical data.
The MOS 68X ensures soldiers get the treatment and counseling they need to be healthy and productive members of the Army. They may be assigned to a fixed facility or a field unit. They may work in the United States or deploy.
