740A Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Warrant Officer
The Army MOS 740A is a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Technician. These warrant officers provide technical and tactical expertise and experience to the CBRN community at all levels of command. They provide expert technical advice in CBRN defenses, plan and direct training and operations, and manage the technical aspects of CBRN response operations. They usually serve at battalion level organizations, but may also serve in junior level positions.
To become a warrant officer, you must be an active-duty, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard enlisted Soldier. You must also demonstrate expert proficiency in your skill and craft, and show a drive for growth in areas like leadership and discipline.
