79R Recruiter

The Army MOS code 79R is for recruiters. Recruiters recruit qualified people to join the Army. They also supervise recruiting and maintain statistics on recruiting programs.

Recruiters must meet the minimum requirements to enlist in the Armed Services. After serving for a few years, they can volunteer to become a recruiter.

Recruiters must also: Have an ASVAB score of 110 in aptitude area GT Complete the appropriate MOS 79R course at the Recruiting and Retention School Recruiting assignments are usually three years long.
