88H Cargo Specialist

The Army Cargo Specialist (MOS 88H) is responsible for the transfer of passengers, cargo, and equipment. They ensure that troops receive the supplies, weapons, equipment, and mail needed for operations. They also supervise the transfer of passengers and cargo.

Cargo Specialists are proficient in all methods of cargo handling and storage procedures, including manual and mechanical methods. They load and unload cargo manually or by operating material handling equipment like cranes and forklifts.

Cargo Specialists are trained at Fort Eustis, VA as part of the Transportation School’s distributed One Army School System.
