91P Self Propelled Artillery Systems Mechanic

The Army MOS 91P is a military occupational specialty for artillery mechanics. The 91P MOS supervises and performs maintenance and recovery of self-propelled field artillery cannon weapon systems.

These systems include: Automotive Turret Carriage-mounted armament Fire control systems

The 91P MOS also maintains diesel power plants, compression ignition engines, and engine fuel systems. They also perform battlefield damage assessment and repair (BDAR) of track vehicles.

The 91P MOS can help soldiers transition to civilian employment. The skills they learn, such as leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving, are in demand by civilian employers.
