920A Property Accounting Technician
The Army MOS 920A is a Property Accounting Technician. They work in both operational and generating force units.
Their duties include: Ensuring all authorized equipment is on hand, on requisition, or redistribution order Coordinating the acquisition and distribution of new equipment Redistributing excess equipment Processing excess equipment for disposal Monitoring unit supply operations Managing inventory control Supervising purchasing procedures Accounting and managing capital stock for units and installations
To qualify for 920A, you must score at the 12th grade level on the Language portion of the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE). You can be exempt from this requirement if you have completed 6 credit hours of College English/CLEP.
You can also consider military technician, government contract, and other civilian job experiences that correlate with the feeder MOSs. You should also have a letter of recommendation from a Senior Property Accounting Technician.
