921A Airdrop Systems Technician
The Army MOS 921A is a warrant officer who serves as an Airdrop Systems Technician. They provide technical guidance to commanders and staff on airborne and airdrop operations. They also supervise the inspection and packing of parachutes, and the repair of parachutes and associated equipment. They may also plan and organize activities for repairing airdrop equipment.
The 921A also serves as a subject matter expert during combat readiness center boards and investigations of parachute fatalities and airdrop mishaps.
To become a warrant officer, you must be an enlisted soldier in the Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard. You must also demonstrate expert proficiency in your skill and craft, and show a drive for growth in areas like leadership and discipline.
