92W Water Treatment Specialist
The Army MOS 92W is a Water Treatment Specialist. They are responsible for installing and operating water purification equipment, and ensuring that clean water is stored and available when needed. They also handle water storage and distribution operations during deployment.
The Army trains Water Treatment Specialists on all water systems in the Army’s inventory. The training includes classroom time and field work, such as testing products.
Some of the skills they learn include: Identifying health hazards Inspecting food products, food service operations, wastewater, and waste disposal facilities
The Army records scores twice a year for active duty soldiers, and once a year for members of the Army Reserve and Army National Guard.
